JOB SUMMARY: The Outside AE is responsible for applying the correct product for the clients application adding extra value to the sale through technical excellence and cross selling a great product basket. JOB SUMMARY:
Manages the companys entire sales operation, overseeing a direct outside sales force and inside sales support group. Creates selling strategies for highly engineered, premium component products sold primarily to OEM customers. Provides support, tracks performance and recommends improvement strategies to increase overall sales and profitability of the sales force.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Force Management - Develops and implements systems to accurately forecast revenue generation and the flow of orders to the company. Manages, develops and directs sales staff to achieve sales and profit goals within their territories. Directly manages certain key accounts. Conducts regular sales management meetings, reviews performance data with the individual sales staff, and recommends areas for improvement on key performance indicators. Develops sales targets, provides proper incentives and tools to maximize efforts of the sales force. Ensures that incentives are fairly allocated based on performance. Provides adequate product training and administrative support.
Inside Staff Management - Effectively directs the day-to-day efforts of the inside staff through regular staff meetings and open communication. The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for planning and directing all Engineering activities, including manufacturing administration, Design Team Projects and Internal Research & Development Projects. (c) Ensures that all staff is adequately trained to perform their specific duties.

(e) Plans and creates Configuration Department Goals and provides guidance as necessary to ensure goals/objectives are achieved.
- Directs the Design Team activities to ensure efficient completion of Design projects while meeting customer requirements.
(a) Evaluates all new design requests for feasibility and companys ability to provide an effective solution.
(b) Ensures that all designs are completed in accordance with companys Design Management Procedures.
(c) Provides Detailed Project management to ensure that all customer requirements are understood and that the design progresses accordingly.
(d) Manages the development, implementation and testing of new customer specific designs as efficiently and effectively to minimize project delays and budget over-run costs.
(e) Provides status reports of all open projects as dictated by the project scopes to the Management Team at planned intervals.

- Coordinates and directs the Engineering Test workload of the Engineering laboratory.
(a) Directs the resource allocation of the Engineering Lab to ensure that all testing requirements are conducted in a timely fashion.
(b) Coordinates all Engineering Test lab requests with MME internal customers in effort to provide visibility of the lab workload and communicate clear expectations of testing completion dates.
- Serves as Lean Manufacturing Expert to recommend and implement business/manufacturing process improvements.
(a) Responsible for identifying lean initiative projects, based on Corporate Goal/Objective results and feedback from employees.
(b) Plans and executes lean initiative projects utilizing the most appropriate Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
